Our Church hosts a wide variety of services, with a large congregation ranging from the very young to the young at heart!  Pastoral care is shared with the Minister, Supernumerary Ministers, Church Family Worker and a team of Pastoral Visitors.

We provide a wide range of activities for all age groups.  Indeed the Church has a great commitment of outreach within our community through several projects for youth, elderly, lonely, housebound etc.  From our regular Mod Mums Coffee Club, to the Friday Table Tennis Club and our Junior Church, Rustington Methodist Church certainly does offer something for every person.

Please feel free to make contact with our Church Office who will be happy to help with your enquiries.

Our strap-line, ‘Affirm God’s Presence, Proclaim God’s Love, Demonstrate God’s Action’ indicates that as the family of Christ here at Rustington Methodist Church, we seek to grow in our understanding of faith in God, and to share that understanding of the love of God in our village community and surrounding area.

‘For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything’

Rustington Methodist Church - The Buildings

The Rustington Methodist Church complex lies in the heart of Rustington village and is very much part of the community.

We are an active member of ‘Churches Together in Rustington’.

Rustington Methodist Church is part of the South West Sussex United Area, a joint Methodist and URC venture, and the South East District of the Methodist Church.

Our present Church building was erected in 1951, although Methodism has had a presence in Rustington since the middle of the nineteenth century.

Catering for all our needs we have the Church building itself able to seat in excess of 200 on free standing upholstered chairs, a large hall, a most comfortable lounge equipped with tables and chairs, two well equipped and up to date kitchens, several meeting rooms and modern toilets for our convenience!  The premises are wheelchair friendly and disabled friendly.

Also as part of the premises we have a Church office staffed on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings.

A full central heating system operates throughout the premises.

The church has an Induction Loop system for the hard of hearing, large print hymn books and large screen audio/visual equipment.  Services are recorded for the housebound.

We have Award winning attractive and well tended and cared for gardens which include a modern, well equipped and secure, children's play area.

We also have, on site, our own private car parks.
