Rustington Methodist Church

Here you'll find what the members of our Church get up to during the week! If you would like to know more about any of the groups mentioned below, please Contact Us.

Mondays

Prayer groups meet fortnightly. Also, there is the 'Good Companions Luncheon Club.' This is designed for the people of the church who are disabled, living on their own or housebound. They are taken from their house and given lunch together in a caring environment.

A new House Group has recently been started, aimed at the younger members of the congregation. For more information, please contact the Church Office.

Parents and Toddlers each Monday afternoon from 1.15-2.45pm term time only get together and meet with others in a friendly informal atmosphere with space for children to play and have fun. Refreshments provided.

Tuesdays

Rascals are a pre-school playgroup for 3 - 5 year olds. The emphasis in this group is on educational play in a happy and well structured environment. Rascals also meet on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. As well as another prayer group, there is also a session of activities for the visually handicapped which meets monthly.

Wednesdays

During term time, the 'Mod Mums Coffee Club' meet. The group is aimed at mothers with young children, though others do attend. Activities that take place in this popular group include slide shows, guest speakers and quizzes!

Every Wednesday afternoon Women's Fellowship/Network meets in the Hall at 2.30pm. A friendly group of ladies who enjoy talks on many varied subjects followed by tea and a chat. All meetings commence with a 15 minute devotion time.

Thursdays
The very popular 'Thursday at Eight' club meet together on a weekly basis to provide fellowship for both men and woman of the church. The programme of activities include many guest speakers and special outings and events, as well as organising fund raising events for charities.
